Background Information

Kids University's mission is to introduce children aged 6 to 14 to science, technology, and higher education in a playful and accessible way. The organization provides interactive lessons and workshops — known as "children's lectures" — held at two permanent campuses: Lalla Rookh (for children aged 6–12) and UNASAT (for ages 10–14).

Additionally, lectures are organized upon request at schools and institutions that work with children, such as children’s homes. This approach ensures that children from socially vulnerable backgrounds are also reached.

Thanks in part to a donation from the Staatsolie Foundation, children from, among others, Kinderhuis Samuel and Nos Kasitas were able to participate in lessons using laptops for the first time. The donation also made it possible to reach many more children with educational materials and digital support.
